Frosty is the foundation of our herd. She was our first goat and was given to us by some friends (which is how we got started in goats) in 1998. She is not the best of goats, but we love her and she is a decent milker. As her daughters excel her in all respects, we figure that she must have been a fluke in her line! Frosty is a red roan, with white patches on her sides and legs, and frosted ears. Sadly, we lost Frosty this Mother's Day to bad kidding complications. She is fondly remembered as the proud herd queen she was.

Birth Date: 4/11/00Poppy is a lovely, dairy doe with a very nice udder that tends to place in the middle of the ring at shows. She far surpasses her mother (Frosty) in both dairyness and overall conformation, and in turn, is greatly surpassed by her daughter in levelness, spring of rib, general apperance and udder attachment. She is a valuable brood doe with a great temperment and a kooky personality, which makes life with her loads of fun. Poppy is a deep mahogany color with a white patch on her right side. She freshened April 28 this year with twins; 1 buck, 1 doe. Her gorgeous buck kid, "Dragon", out of Longman's HM Macho Man, is a very long, leggy, masculine buck with lots of dairy character, breed character, and levelness over the topline. Red with frosted ears, white muzzle and cap. Priced at $200 negotiable.
Phoenix is the star of the herd. This incredibly silver spotted black and red doe excels in general apperance, length, width and strength throughout with a very strong topline, front end assembly, beautiful breed character and a gorgeous udder. From the side view, the balance is nearly perfect, with also nearly ideal teat size, shape and placement. Her area of attachment is very large with the rear being smooth, high and wide and the front being smoothly attached and capacious also. She is milking a average of 7-8lbs/day at 3-1/2 weeks fresh, as a yearling first freshener. We have not had an opportunity yet this year to show her (rest assured, we will!), but as a kid last August, she easily took Junior Champion at the Athens Co. Fair, over 15 other does. We can't wait to see what she will do this year and next. Phoenix freshened May 9 with twins; 1 buck, 1 doe, out of Longman's HM Macho Man. Her very colorful buck kid is available. "Griffin" is a long, level correct kid with beautiful breed character and carries a legacy of udder strength from both sides of his pedigree. Priced at $250 negotiable.

Birth Date: 4/7/02 Luna is turning out to be a very nice first freshener. A very dairy doe with sharp withers, a long neck, and thin skin, she also has excellent temperment. Her rear attachment is stupendous, and the whole udder is right up there with plenty of capacity and nice length of teats. Luna is a palimino roan with a large white patch on her right side that runs down her hind leg also. She and her half sister, Phoenix were born on the same day, within an hour of each other, and as a result think they are twins and are inseperable. Luna freshened May 8 with twins; 1 buck, 1 doe, out of Longman's HM Macho Man. The doe is retained and the buck is for sale. "Chase" is extremely long bodied, level, correct and a beautiful palimino with a white blaze and a white blanket w/ spots. His breed character is also superior with an outstanding roman nose and very wide, belled ears. Priced at $250 negotiable.
